Fireworks are controversial, with many people concerned for the reaction of their pet animals and about dangers to onlookers. Those problems are at least lessened if people attend well-organised public displays, the timings of which are well publicised. Here are a few of those for the 2019 season.

Saturday, 2nd November 7pm Gates open at 5:30pm
